Get ready to build something awesome! In this hands-on workshop, students will use the viral Chompsaw cardboard-jigsaw to design and create their own custom piñatas from scratch. Students will learn how to safely score their cardboard to mold it, safely cut pieces to fit together, then engineer and decorate cardboard creations while bringing their wild ideas to life.
 
From animals and video game characters to giant food creations, every student will leave with a one-of-a-kind piñata and stronger creativity, problem-solving, and design skills. Expect laughter, paint, candy, and lots of fun!
 
All materials included.  Small group setting. Students take home their completed piñata creations.
 
DIY Piñata Lab — 2-Day Plan
Day 1: Plan & Build
Students sketch their piñata design, use the Chompsaw to cut cardboard pieces, and assemble the main structure/frame of their creation.
 
Day 2: Decorate & Finish
Students add colorful fringe, paint, decorations, and final details to bring their custom piñatas to life before taking them home.
