Assessment is planned based on age, grade-level, and individual circumstances.  The assessment process gathers information for current progress in:

  • English-language Arts - Phonics, decoding, morphology, and overall reading level
  • Mathematics - Number sense, visual representations of quantities, and relationships between numbers

 

Assessment concludes with a learning pathway comprised of I Can statements that act as anchor goals.  These goals determine the content of tutoring sessions, the pace of learning, and the suggested length of sessions.

 

Assessment deposit is applied to the cost of first tutoring session.  First session must be scheduled within 14 days of assessment completion.
